Rumors Circulating About My Abduction Are Baseless: Anwar Maqsood

Islamabad: Legendary Pakistani writer, host, satirist Anwar Maqsood has denied the rumors circulating about his alleged abduction.
It should be noted that news regarding the kidnapping of Anwar Maqsood was circulating on social media for the past few days.
However, Anwar Maqsood has dismissed all such circulating news as baseless by releasing a video in his humorous style.
Reacting to the circulating news, the legendary author requested the fans not to listen to such fake news.
He added that “I neither have any account on social media nor do I watch social media. People are calling me and telling me that there is news about my kidnapping.”
Denying all the baseless news, he also said that “I not only deny all such news but also condemn those who spread such news without verification”.
