Security Arrangements in Place as PSL Action Begins in Rawalpindi

Islamabad: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches are set to commence in Rawalpindi today (Saturday) with stringent security measures in place.
CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani has announced that over 5,000 police personnel will be deployed to ensure the safety of the event.
Special security arrangements have been implemented not only within Rawalpindi Stadium but also in its vicinity.
Additionally, the CPO has assured that traffic management will be prioritized alongside security operations. The enforcement of Section 144 in Rawalpindi district will remain vigilant, and any violations of the law will be swiftly addressed to uphold the peaceful conduct of the PSL matches.
Today’s matches include a showdown between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars, followed by Islamabad United taking on Quetta Gladiators in the afternoon at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
