Security has been further strengthened at key locations, including Faisal Mosque and other major mosques and Eidgahs, where special contingents will be deployed to manage crowds and prevent any untoward incident.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) quick response teams will remain on high alert throughout the holidays to respond immediately to any emergency situation.
Authorities have also instructed special police contingents to be stationed at recreational spots, while surveillance will be continuously monitored through the Safe City camera network to ensure real-time security oversight.
In addition, the Police Khidmat Markaz F-6 and Diplomatic Enclave will remain open during the holidays to facilitate citizens and address public complaints.
IGP Rizvi urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement personnel during security checks and immediately report any suspicious activity through the emergency helpline “15,” stressing that public vigilance is key to maintaining peace during Eid celebrations.
