Karachi: Most parts of Sindh are expected to remain under hot and humid conditions over the next 24 hours, although coastal areas could see some relief in the form of isolated drizzle, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The weather office said southern districts are likely to experience partly cloudy skies, while isolated drizzle may occur along the coast and in Tharparkar.

In Karachi division, conditions are expected to remain partly cloudy to cloudy and humid, with occasional winds. The city may also receive isolated drizzle, particularly during the morning or nighttime hours.

The forecast comes as hot and humid weather continued across much of the province on Wednesday, with relatively cooler and partly cloudy conditions reported in coastal areas.

Dadu recorded the highest temperature in Sindh at 43°C, followed by Nawabshah at 42°C. Temperatures reached 41°C in Sukkur and Mohen jo Daro, while Hyderabad Airport recorded 35°C.

Mithi and Thatta remained comparatively cooler at 33°C, while Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 32°C.

The forecast indicates that while most of Sindh will continue to face heat and humidity, coastal districts, including Karachi, could experience brief periods of cloud cover, winds and drizzle.

The city may also receive isolated drizzle, particularly during the morning or nighttime hours.
