News Desk
Rawalpindi: Authorities in Murree have imposed Section 144 across Mall Road and surrounding areas ahead of the Eid-ul-Adha holidays to maintain public order and ensure smooth movement of residents and tourists.
According to an official notification, the restrictions will remain in place from today until May 31. During this period, tourist families will still be allowed access to Mall Road, a key attraction in the hill station during the festive season.
However, the order includes a ban on activities such as hooliganism, public disturbance, possession of firearms, and the use of fireworks. The decision has been taken to prevent any untoward incidents and to manage the expected surge of visitors during Eid holidays.
