Israel Fires on Civilians in Gaza Aid Queue, Dozens Killed

News Desk
Islamabad: In Gaza, the number of casualties rose to 20 as the Israeli army fired indiscriminately on Palestinians gathered near trucks awaiting aid, amidst concerns of hunger and poverty.
Israel has declined to take responsibility for the incident.
According to a report from Al Jazeera, Palestinian civilians, who had gathered at the Kuwait roundabout to receive aid, were targeted by Israeli forces firing from helicopters.
Dr Muhammad Gharib, working at the emergency unit of Al-Shifa Hospital, anticipates that the death toll will rise further.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health has labeled the attack as the second “massacre” in recent times.
In response to these events, US Senator Chuck Schumer criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, referring to him as an “obstacle to peace,” and advocated for new elections in Israel.
Meanwhile, in the western region, amid operations by the occupying Israeli army, a car was set ablaze in Ramallah, and within 24 hours, 69 Palestinians lost their lives.
On the other hand, Israeli forces have refused to accept responsibility for this attack.
It should be remembered that at least 31,341 Palestinians have been martyred and 73,134 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The number of dead in Israel is 1,139 in the October 7 attack by Hamas.
It should be noted that in early March, Israel killed more than 100 Palestinians by firing indiscriminately on Palestinians waiting for aid.
Palestinian health officials said that at least 112 people were martyred and more than 280 were injured in the incident near Gaza City.
