Heat Rises Across Pakistan, Up to 5°C Above Normal

Islamabad: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast unusually high temperatures across the country, with several regions expected to experience conditions up to five degrees Celsius above seasonal averages.
According to the department, most parts of Pakistan will remain dry and hot, intensifying daytime heat levels. In Islamabad and central and southern districts of Punjab, temperatures are likely to stay three to five degrees above normal.
Similarly, residents in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can expect temperatures to remain elevated by two to four degrees above average, adding to the ongoing spell of warm and dry weather.

In Balochistan, particularly in northeastern and southern districts, temperatures are also projected to be up to four degrees above normal.
Meteorologists warn that the persistent rise in temperatures may increase heat-related discomfort, especially during peak daytime hours, and advise the public to take necessary precautions. The current weather pattern reflects a broader warming trend as the country moves further into the summer season.
Met Office predicts hot, dry weather for Sindh
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday forecast hot and dry weather across most districts of Sindh over the next 24 hours.
However, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the upper districts during the afternoon. Daytime temperatures in the southern districts are likely to remain 1 to 3°C above normal. Overall, hot and dry weather is expected to prevail throughout the province.
