Govt Slashes LPG Prices by Rs67.33 Per Kg for July

Islamabad: The government has significantly reduced the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the start of the new fiscal year, providing relief to consumers amid persistent inflation.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of LPG has been cut by Rs67.33 per kilogram, bringing the new official price down to Rs241.43 per kg, effective July 1.
The regulator also reduced the price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder by Rs794.50, lowering its price from Rs3,644 in June to Rs2,848.91 for July.
Similarly, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs3,057, with the new price set at Rs10,960.
OGRA said the official LPG price for June was Rs309 per kilogram, while the price of a domestic cylinder stood at Rs3,644.
The revised prices will come into effect from 12:00 a.m. on July 1 and will remain applicable throughout the month of July.
The reduction is expected to provide some financial relief to households and businesses that rely on LPG for cooking and commercial use.
