A new satirical political movement, “Khargosh Janta Party,” has emerged in India, adding to a growing wave of online political parody following the earlier viral “Kakroch Janta Party” trend.

The latest movement was launched by Indian YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav, who announced it on June 10 through a post on social media platform X.

Yadav also shared a poster featuring his image alongside illustrations of rabbits and carrots. The poster carries a humorous slogan: “Smart mind, long ears, development for all, with carrots!”

In his caption, the YouTuber invited supporters to gather at Jantar Mantar, joking that “everyone will get a free carrot.” The announcement quickly went viral, drawing widespread reactions and memes across social media.

The movement comes in the backdrop of an earlier satirical campaign, “Kakroch Janta Party,” which began after a controversial remark attributed to Indian Chief Justice Surya Kant sparked online debate. The parody initiative was started by an Indian citizen, Abhijit Deepke, as a humorous critique of political discourse and governance.

Within days, the “Kakroch Janta Party” gained significant traction online, reportedly attracting millions of Instagram followers and hundreds of thousands of community members.

According to Indian media reports, the Gen Z-driven satire movement has also drawn participation from some opposition figures. Its loosely framed manifesto uses humor to highlight issues such as youth unemployment, media pressure, and broader political dissatisfaction.

The emergence of the “Khargosh Janta Party” further reflects the growing trend of meme-based political expression among young social media users in India, where satire and symbolism are increasingly being used to comment on mainstream politics.
