Over 31kg of Drugs Seized in Separate Operations

Islamabad: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered 31.5 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs3.7 million in two separate operations carried out in Faisalabad and Chagai, arresting one suspect in connection with the seizures.
According to the ANF, the operations were conducted as part of its ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking and the illegal movement of narcotics across the country.
In Faisalabad, ANF officials recovered 1.5 kilograms of hashish from a suspect near a college on Sheikhupura Road. The suspect was taken into custody following the recovery.
In a separate operation near Dalbandin in District Chagai, Balochistan, ANF personnel intercepted a vehicle and seized 30 kilograms of opium.
The ANF said the combined value of the recovered drugs was estimated at more than Rs3.7 million.
Cases have been registered against the accused under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and further investigations are underway.
The latest operations are part of the ANF’s continued efforts to curb the trafficking and distribution of illegal drugs across the country.
