Bajaur Blast Death Toll Reaches Seven

Bajaur: The death toll from the Bajaur blast has now reached seven, with two more security officials succumbing to their injuries on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, according to the police sources, a case of the incident has been registered against an unknown terrorist at the CTD police station in Bajaur.

The deceased police officials are identified as Wali and Imran. They were under treatment at the LRH hospital in Peshawar. Top of Form With two new deaths, the number of police martyrs has increased to seven, and many others are under treatment.

It is to be mentioned here that a remote control bomb exploded on a police vehicle at Belot Farsh, Tehsil Mamond, Bajaur on January 8 (Monday). Initially, five personnel were martyred, while 28 were injured.

In the aftermath of the tragic incident, all political parties in Bajaur have decided to postpone their election campaigns for three days.

No political events will be organized until January 10, and all political activities will be temporarily suspended. Additionally, following the directives of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, the Bajaur Bar Association has declared a comprehensive boycott of court proceedings.

Ikram Durrani Advocate, the Vice President of the Bajaur Bar, affirmed that no lawyers will be representing cases in court during this period. He vehemently denounced both the firing incident at Peshawar High Court and the bomb blast in Bajaur.
