England Complete Series Whitewash Against Pakistan

England: England completed a 3-0 series whitewash against Pakistan after successfully chasing down a target of 130 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Chasing 130, England were led by Joe Root, who scored 62 runs, while Jordan contributed 59. Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas claimed both early wickets, dismissing openers Ben Duckett and Emilio for ducks, but England remained in control and comfortably reached the target.

Earlier, Pakistan were bowled out for 449 in their second innings, setting England a modest target of 130. Razaullah produced a remarkable counter-attacking innings, scoring 81 off just 63 balls at No 8.

His innings included nine sixes and four fours and helped Pakistan avoid an innings defeat while giving the team a brief hope of mounting a comeback.

Shan Masood top-scored for Pakistan with 95, while Babar Azam made 76. Azan Awais contributed 59 and Mohammad Abbas scored 42. Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique were dismissed for ducks, while Ghazi Ghouri and Mohammad Imran scored 16 and four respectively.

For England, Atkinson took three wickets, while Ollie Robinson, Josh and Lawrence claimed two each. Jofra Archer picked up one wicket.

Pakistan’s struggles began in the first innings when they were dismissed for just 133 runs. England responded strongly, posting 453 and securing a commanding first-innings lead.

Despite Pakistan’s improved batting display in the second innings, England comfortably completed the chase to seal the series 3-0.
