The DGEPA emphasized the necessity of raising public awareness regarding air pollution and urged citizens to take precautionary measures. The impact of increased air pollution in KP has resulted in a surge of respiratory issues such as colds, coughs, and chest diseases among a considerable number of people.

Furthermore, the heightened air quality index has been linked to an escalation in chest, skin, eye, and lung ailments, prompting the DGEPA to advise individuals to keep windows closed and wear masks while outside to mitigate exposure to contaminated air.
