Employee Killed as Four Robbers Raid Home

Rawalpindi: A 38-year-old employee was allegedly strangled to death after resisting armed robbers during a house robbery in the Pir Mehar Ali Shah Town area of Rawalpindi.
Police said a case involving robbery and murder has been registered at Dhamial Police Station on the complaint of the homeowner.
According to police sources, four armed suspects entered the house and held the homeowner hostage at gunpoint. The suspects allegedly strangled the homeowner’s employee, Muhammad Ali, in a washroom after he resisted the robbery.
The deceased, who was from Chakwal, was reportedly employed at the house.
The robbers fled after stealing cash, jewellery and mobile phones worth around Rs1 million, police said.
During their escape, the suspects reportedly exchanged fire with police on Chakri Road. However, all four managed to flee, including one suspect who was reportedly injured during the confrontation.
Police have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects and have obtained CCTV footage to help identify and trace them.
