Maryam Nawaz’s Daughter Mahnoor to Tie the Knot Today

Lahore: Mahnoor Safdar, the youngest daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Captain (Retd) Muhammad Safdar, is set to tie the knot today, September 12, in a private Nikah ceremony in Lahore.
According to family sources, the Nikah will be held at 5:00 PM in the Jati Umra area of Lahore and will be attended by members of the Sharif family, close relatives and a select group of friends.
Mahnoor Safdar will marry Azan Jabbar, son of prominent businessman Jabbar Khalid. According to sources, Jabbar Khalid is associated with the flour milling industry and is a recognised figure in business circles. Further details about the groom and his family have not been officially disclosed.
Some media reports have suggested that around 100 guests may attend the ceremony. However, the family has opted to keep the event private and exclusive, with no large-scale public celebrations announced.
Mahnoor Safdar has largely remained away from the media spotlight. She recently completed her education at SOAS University of London.
Maryam Nawaz recently travelled to London to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony, where she expressed her happiness over Mahnoor’s academic achievement.
