Pakistan head into the tournament with confidence after sweeping Zimbabwe 3-0 in a recent T20I series in Karachi, a performance that selectors believe helped shape the final squad.

Before the World Cup begins, Pakistan will take part in a tri-series in Dublin alongside hosts Ireland and West Indies from May 28 to June 4, offering the team valuable preparation time in conditions similar to those expected in England.

The team will also play two warm-up matches,  against Sri Lanka on June 6 and Scotland on June 9, both in Derby.

Pakistan’s World Cup campaign begins with a blockbuster clash against arch-rivals India at Edgbaston on June 14. They will then face South Africa on June 17, Bangladesh on June 20, Australia on June 23 and Netherlands on June 27 in the group stage.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals on June 30 and July 2, while the final will be played at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on July 5.

The squad includes Fatima Sana (captain), Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Eyman Fatima, Gull Feroza, Iram Javed, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui, Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Saira Jabeen, Tasmia Rubab and Tuba Hassan.
