India Confirms Six More Soldiers Killed in Operation Sindoor

New Delhi: The names of six more soldiers who died during Operation Sindoor have been officially added to the Roll of Honour of the National War Memorial.

According to the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), India has officially acknowledged the deaths of six soldiers who died during Operation Sindoor and added their names to the Roll of Honour of the National War Memorial.

According to the report, the acknowledged deaths include Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, Rifleman Sunil Kumar, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar, Aviation Technician Maud Murali Naik, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh and Sergeant Surendra Kumar.

KMS says that after continuous protests and pressure from the families of the soldiers, the Indian government was forced to officially acknowledge these deaths and reveal their names.

According to the report, these admissions further strengthen Pakistan’s position that Indian forces suffered significant casualties during Operation Sindoor, while India is gradually revealing its losses.

According to KMS, Pakistan had claimed to have targeted the 10th Infantry Brigade of the Indian Army during the operation, while the killed Subedar Major Pawan Kumar was also said to be from the same brigade headquarters.

The report further states that Pakistan had also claimed to have destroyed a battery of the S-400 missile defense system installed in Udhampur. According to KMS, Sergeant Surendra Kumar was killed in Udhampur and was later awarded the Vayu Medal, while India denied the losses at the location.

KMS claims that satellite images and Indian records show that the said forward base was

severely affected.

The report also states that international media has published various reports on Pakistan’s claims of shooting down Indian Rafale, Mirage 2000 and other aircraft, while according to defense experts, the Indian government has affected the morale of the army by hiding the deaths of its soldiers.

Referring to political experts, KMS has said that the Indian opposition is constantly questioning the Modi government on the losses incurred in Operation Sindoor, while the government is silent on the military and political losses.

According to defense experts, India’s claims of continuing Operation Sindoor are actually an attempt to divert attention from these questions, and they say that India may also have to explain other military losses in the future.
