Rawalpindiz set 122-run target for Hyderabad Kingsmen

Karachi: Rawalpindiz have set a target of 122 runs for Hyderabad Kingsmen in the 24th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, being played at the National Bank Stadium Karachi.
Hyderabad Kingsmen captain Marnus Labuschagne won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first, Rawalpindiz managed to score 121 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Sam Billings top-scored with 26 runs, while Yasir Khan contributed 24 runs.
For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Mohammad Ali and Hunain Shah delivered impressive bowling performances, taking three wickets each. Glenn Maxwell and Asif Mahmood also chipped in with one wicket apiece.
Chasing a modest target of 122 runs, Hyderabad Kingsmen will look to strengthen their position in the tournament.
In another fixture scheduled at the same venue, Karachi Kings will face Islamabad United at 7:00 p.m. Islamabad United currently sit third on the points table, while Karachi Kings are placed fourth.
PSL 11 observes “Pink Day” to raise breast cancer awareness
Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 will observe “Pink Day” today at the National Bank Stadium Karachi as part of a campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer.
The double-header event at the venue will feature Hyderabad Kingsmen taking on Rawalpindi in the first match, while Karachi Kings will face Islamabad United in the second fixture.
As part of the awareness initiative, all players and match officials will wear pink caps and ribbons. In addition, the stumps and on-screen graphics will also be displayed in pink to highlight the cause throughout the day.
The official social media campaign for the event carries the hashtag #GoPink, with fans encouraged to share messages of support at 8 PM across social media platforms.
According to PSL organizers, members of the Pakistan women’s national cricket team, including captain Fatima Sana, Syeda Aroob Shah, Rameen Shamim, and Muneeba Ali, have been invited to attend the matches in support of the initiative.
The players will also participate in pre-match warm-up sessions alongside cricketers from all four participating teams.
The campaign aims to spread awareness about breast cancer, which remains one of the most prevalent cancers among women in Pakistan. Organizers emphasized the importance of early screening, diagnosis, and treatment, alongside promoting resilience in the fight against the disease.
