Proclaimed Offender Held 11 Years After Son-in-Law Murder

Rawalpindi: Chaklala police have arrested a proclaimed offender wanted since September 2015 for allegedly killing his son-in-law and injuring his daughter over their love marriage.

According to police, the suspect had been absconding since the incident and was traced and arrested through technical and human intelligence.

SP (Pothohar) Chaudhry Asar Ali said the accused would be presented before the court along with concrete evidence.

In a separate operation, Gujar Khan Police arrested two men accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy.

Police said the victim’s father lodged a complaint alleging that the two suspects had assaulted his son. A case was registered and both accused were taken into custody.

The victim also underwent a medical examination as part of the investigation.

SP (Saddar) Anam Sher said the suspects would be produced before the court with concrete evidence.
