Islamabad: New visual leaks and analyst-backed reporting are converging on the possibility that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro will feature a noticeably smaller Dynamic Island, marking a potential step toward a more seamless front display.
This week, two separate visual cues surfaced online: an alleged screen protector image shared by leaker Ice Universe and a prototype photo posted by an X account, @earlyappleleaks.
While neither source is definitive on its own, both appear to align with earlier independent reporting and industry analysis suggesting Apple is preparing a hardware change to its Face ID system rather than eliminating the Dynamic Island entirely.
The screen protector image reportedly shows a reduced cutout area compared to current models, while the prototype image appears to reveal a small circular opening visible only under certain lighting conditions. Observers interpret this as consistent with a component positioned beneath the display.
These developments come alongside prior reporting from Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, who indicated that the iPhone 18 Pro would introduce a smaller Dynamic Island.
