Emphasizing coordination, the officers highlighted the need for seamless communication among personnel stationed at sensitive نقاط to ensure effective security coverage. The ICT Police reiterated that safeguarding citizens’ lives and property, along with maintaining law and order, remains its top priority.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has ordered the fast-track completion of the under-construction National Police Hospital at Police Lines Headquarters.
During his visit to the project site, Rizvi reviewed the pace and quality of construction work in the presence of senior officers, including the DIG Headquarters and the project manager. He directed authorities to accelerate work while ensuring that the facility meets international standards.
Describing the hospital as a flagship welfare initiative, the IGP said it would significantly improve healthcare services for police personnel and their families, with plans to extend services to the general public in the future.
He added that multiple welfare measures are being introduced to support ICT Police personnel, noting that improved facilities would enhance both their well-being and the morale of their families.
