India’s allegations Against Pakistan

Islamabad: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s accusation against Pakistan of supporting terrorism and at the same time calling it a neighbour, during an international conference, has finally reached the Foreign Office here.

The foreign office, in reaction to the statement, said that India should correct its thinking on the issue of terrorism and refrain from leveling baseless allegation against Pakistan.

Islamabad and New Delhi instead of holding dialogue are involved in blame game. Normal diplomatic ties have been reduced, despite being neighbours, trade is non-existent and there are many other reasons besides that.

India’s expansionist ambitions are not hidden from anyone. India as a state was established by the oppressive occupation of several autonomous and independent territories. These areas are struggling for independence since long.

Islamabad does not recognize India’s illegal occupation of Kashmir, so India is engaged in conspiracies to destroy the peaceful identity of Pakistan globally. Negotiations have been going on between the arch-rivals on all disputes, including Kashmir.

In the highly tense situation, the two countries didn’t consider it impossible to settle matters through dialogue. This series got derailed when the Bhartiya Janta Party with extremist views gained strength in India. Modi is the representative of this extreme and violent thinking and there is no end to violence perpetrated against all minorities be it killing Muslims, burning churches and branding Sikhs as Hindus.

In early August 2019, India revoked Kashmir’s decades-long special status enshrined in its constitution. This constitutional status was given in 1947 by the so-called annexation of Kashmir to India so that the world could not object to the legality of this occupation.

India gave Kashmir a certain degree of autonomy. Since then, there have been numerous conflicts within the region, it is a historical fact that the people of Kashmir fought a political and armed struggle to gain independence from India and Pakistan and India also fought four wars on the same issue.

Heavy presence of forces on the international border and at the Line of Control created tense situation many a times and the two countries armed with nuclear arsenal are considered a threat to the world peace.

The Kashmir dispute is not being resolved in the United Nations and armed conflicts in the past have also resulted in nothing much.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on many international forums have criticized Pakistan trying to damage and isolate not knowing that his party has a very tainted human rights record.

Modi’s anti-Pakistan politics is quite clear and that is the sole reason it doesn’t allow UN Military Observer Group to visit the LoC and international border to verify ceasefire violations while Pakistan has always recorded these violation and presented the record at international forums.

Modi’s Hindutva politics is based on extreme violence and intolerant approach to all who fall outside Hinduism. Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party has fueled communal riots in India.

Modi’s led BJP’s has a history of anti-Muslim politics. The demolition of Babri Masjid in Uttar Pradesh in 1992 and killing of over 2000 Muslims in Gujarat communal violence in 2002 are just a few examples of Modi led regime.
