Why Did Akshay’s Servant Spill Water on Amitabh Bachchan?

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has recalled a humorous incident involving legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, when a nervous household servant accidentally spilled several glasses of water on the veteran actor’s shirt.

According to Indian media reports, Akshay shared the anecdote during an appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18, where he appeared alongside actor Saif Ali Khan and director Priyadarshan to promote their upcoming film.

The 58-year-old actor recalled that Amitabh Bachchan had once visited his home when he was living in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala area.

Akshay said one of his household servants was a huge fan of Bachchan and became extremely nervous upon seeing his favourite actor in person.

According to Akshay, the servant was holding a glass of water when he became so overwhelmed that he lost his composure and accidentally spilled water on Bachchan’s shirt. He said three to four glasses of water were eventually knocked over.

Recalling his reaction, Akshay said he immediately began wondering what would happen next.

The anecdote left everyone on the show laughing, including Amitabh Bachchan, who joined in the laughter after hearing the story.
