Speaking to Geo News, Daniyal said he is benefiting from consistent opportunities with Quetta Gladiators this season, which he believes will help him regain a place in Pakistan’s squad.
“PSL is a big platform for me this time, and I am hopeful this season will be wonderful,” he said.
The pacer, who made his T20 International debut against Bangladesh in Mirpur last year and has featured in two matches so far, credited team captain Saud Shakeel for his support.
He noted that Shakeel has been particularly helpful in refining his bowling skills.
Daniyal also highlighted his on-field understanding with West Indies pacer Alzarri Joseph, with whom he previously shared the dressing room at Peshawar Zalmi. “We already have good chemistry, we communicate a lot and support each other, which helps improve performance,” he added.
Commenting on playing conditions, Daniyal said the pitches in recent matches have been dry and challenging for bowlers, with limited margin for error.
He noted that modern batters have expanded their range of shots, making it increasingly difficult for bowlers to dominate.
Reflecting on his journey, Daniyal said injuries had briefly stalled his progress after his international debut, but he is now fully fit and regaining rhythm.
“I always try to give 100 percent in every match. I am confident that I will perform well in the PSL, contribute to my team’s success, and make a comeback to the national side,” he said.
