Hot and Dry Weather Conditions in Karachi This Week

News Desk

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced that Karachi is expected to experience hot and dry weather conditions throughout the week.

Temperatures are projected to soar, with daytime highs reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius.

According to the PMD, the prevailing weather patterns are influenced by a high-pressure system over the region.

Officials have urged residents to take necessary precautions to mitigate the effects of the heat, especially vulnerable populations such as the elderly and children.

This forecast raises concerns about the potential impact on public health and energy consumption, as increased temperatures may lead to higher electricity demand for cooling.

Citizens are advised to stay hydrated and limit outdoor activities during peak hours.

Looking ahead, the PMD will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary. Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official channels as the week progresses.
