ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has granted preliminary approval for the construction of two high-rise towers in the commercial hub of Blue Area, Islamabad.

The towers will stand at 659 feet and 580 feet, comprising 45 and 42 stories respectively, marking a significant development in the city’s skyline.

The CDA’s Design Waiting Committee approved this project along with four other major construction initiatives, reflecting a push towards urban expansion and modernization.

An official from the CDA stated, “These towers will not only enhance the architectural landscape of Islamabad but also provide much-needed commercial space in the heart of the capital.”

This development is expected to have broad implications for the local economy, potentially creating jobs and attracting businesses to the area.

As Islamabad continues to grow, such projects are crucial for accommodating the increasing population and economic activities.

Next steps include finalizing the design and initiating the construction phase, with the CDA planning to hold further meetings to discuss timelines and regulatory compliance. The community is keenly watching these developments as they promise to reshape the urban environment of Islamabad.
