Lahore Tragedy: Throats-Slit Bodies of Three Kids Found

Lahore: A tragic and disturbing incident has emerged from the Ichhra neighbourhood of Lahore, where three young children were found murdered inside their home, prompting a swift police investigation.

According to initial reports, the victims, two girls and a boy aged five, four, and one-and-a-half years, were discovered in a residential flat with their throats slit. Police officials say evidence was collected from the scene, and the children’s uncle has been taken into custody for questioning as part of the ongoing inquiry.

The family, which resided on the second floor of a four-storey building, had reportedly left the house locked while going to a nearby market. Upon their return, they found the flat still locked from the outside, but were horrified to discover the bodies of their children inside. 

Authorities were immediately informed.

The children’s father, identified as Ramzan, works as a motor mechanic. Police have stated that all aspects of the case are being examined, and special teams have been formed to trace those responsible.

Reacting to the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed deep sorrow and ordered the immediate arrest of those involved. She also sought a detailed report and assured that the perpetrators would face strict legal consequences.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Punjab Police has taken notice and directed the Lahore Police leadership, including the CCPO and DIG Operations, to expedite the investigation.

Authorities say all available resources are being utilized to ensure swift justice, as the case continues to unfold.
