Teacher Arrested After Allegedly Breaking Student’s Arms

Upper Dir: A teacher has been arrested after allegedly breaking both arms of a student during a violent incident at a government primary school in Upper Dir.
The incident took place in the Siddiqa area of Ashiree Dara, where teacher Sultan Nabi reportedly subjected fifth-grade student Adnan, son of Tajbar, to severe corporal punishment during class.
According to police, the teacher allegedly lost control and brutally assaulted the child, resulting in fractures to both arms. The injured student was immediately shifted for medical treatment.

Police from Gandiagar station acted promptly and arrested the accused teacher after the incident was reported.

Two Arrested in Wah Cantt Theft Case
Police have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in a theft and pickpocketing gang during an operation in Wah Cantonment, officials said on Monday.
According to police sources, the suspects were detained during a targeted operation against criminal activities in the area.
Officials said stolen items recovered from their possession included cash, a water dispenser, and bags of cement.
Police added that further investigation is underway to determine the full extent of the suspects’ involvement and to identify possible accomplices linked to the group.
