WhatsApp Lets Users Turn Any Photo Into a Sticker in One Tap
News Desk
Islamabad: WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that allows users to quickly convert images into stickers, making the process faster and more seamless.
The update is currently being tested with select beta users and is expected to reach a wider audience in the coming days, according to the Meta-owned messaging platform.
With the latest update, users will notice a new shortcut when they tap on an image. This brings up a dedicated sticker menu with two main options.
The first option opens the traditional sticker editor, where users can manually adjust and select from different sticker variations, similar to the existing process available through the overflow menu.

The second and more streamlined option enables users to instantly copy a sticker. Instead of opening the editor, WhatsApp automatically generates the most suitable sticker version from the image.
After the sticker is created, a bottom sheet appears offering several quick actions. Users can add the sticker to their favorites, save it into a sticker pack, further edit it using the sticker editor, or send it directly in a chat.
According to WABetaInfo, this shortcut significantly simplifies the workflow by removing extra steps and allowing users to generate stickers more efficiently. The feature is designed to enhance convenience and speed in everyday messaging.
