KARACHI: A tragic incident unfolded in Karachi where the bodies of a couple were discovered in their home, reportedly murdered with a sharp weapon.

The police, led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), confirmed the grim findings on Tuesday morning, raising concerns over domestic violence in the city.

According to initial reports, the couple was found by local authorities after neighbors reported unusual silence from the residence. The SSP stated that the investigation is ongoing, and forensic teams are examining the scene for evidence.

“We are treating this case with utmost seriousness and will pursue all leads to ensure justice is served,” the SSP remarked.

This incident highlights the growing issue of domestic violence in Pakistan, where many cases often go unreported. Activists have long called for stronger measures to protect vulnerable individuals within households, emphasizing the need for societal change and legal reforms.

Authorities are expected to conduct further investigations, including interviews with family members and neighbors, to piece together the events leading up to this tragic occurrence. The police have urged anyone with information to come forward as they seek to resolve this case swiftly.
