Capt Safdar Files Complaint Against JCP Member Over Degree Authenticity

News Desk
ISLAMABAD:
Retired Capt Muhammad Safdar, a former member of the National Assembly, has lodged a formal complaint with the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) regarding the educational credentials of its member, Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon. Safdar’s complaint calls for an urgent verification of Bhoon’s law degree, which he claims may not be genuine.

In his complaint, addressed to the JCP secretary for presentation to the chairperson and members, Safdar alleges that Bhoon’s law degree could be fake or otherwise unverifiable. He has requested the Commission to independently verify the original records related to Bhoon’s qualifications, raising concerns about the integrity of the legal profession.

This development has significant implications for the credibility of the JCP and the legal system in Pakistan. If the allegations are substantiated, it could lead to broader questions about the qualifications of legal professionals in the country and the standards upheld by the JCP.

As the JCP considers Safdar’s complaint, it remains to be seen how this matter will unfold and whether it will prompt further investigations into the educational qualifications of its members. The outcome could influence public trust in the judicial system and its representatives.
