Weather to Remain Mostly Dry Across Pakistan

Islamabad: Most parts of the country are expected to experience dry weather over the next 12 hours, while daytime temperatures are likely to remain hot across the plains, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

The department said partly cloudy conditions are expected to develop over the northern mountainous areas during the afternoon.

In Karachi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 27°C, with humidity reaching 74%. The maximum temperature is expected to remain between 37°C and 39°C, with hot and humid conditions likely to persist.

Most areas of Balochistan are forecast to remain hot and dry. However, light rain is expected in Barkhan, Musakhel, Ziarat, Harnai, Zhob, Sherani and Khuzdar, while strong winds may affect some areas.

In Peshawar, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected, with temperatures likely to reach 34°C. Hot and humid conditions are forecast during the day across most plain districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Light drizzle is likely in Nowshera, Kohat, Hangu, Kurram, Bajaur and Mohmand.

Rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms is expected in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla and Abbottabad. Light rain with strong winds may also occur in Khyber, Karak, Lakki Marwat, DI Khan and Waziristan.

The weather department has advised residents in the affected areas to remain alert as gusty winds and thunderstorms may occur during the forecast period.
