Islamabad: Samsung appears to be preparing its next Galaxy A-series smartphone for a major production push, with reports suggesting the Galaxy A18 4G could enter mass production this month.

Although Samsung has yet to reveal an official launch date, reports indicate that the company may release the Galaxy A18 4G before introducing a 5G version several months later.

The production roadmap reportedly starts with around 100,000 Galaxy A18 4G units in August. Production could then increase sharply, with Samsung said to be targeting 2.4 million units in September and 2.5 million units in October.

The figures suggest Samsung could be preparing significant inventory for the Galaxy A18 4G, potentially pointing to a wider market rollout later this year. However, the reported targets are not final and could be revised depending on market conditions and consumer demand.

The Galaxy A18 5G is expected to follow a different production timeline. According to the reports, manufacturing of the 5G model will begin once Qualcomm is ready, potentially delaying its arrival compared with the 4G variant.

Samsung has not confirmed the production figures, launch schedule or specifications of either model.

If the reported roadmap holds, the Galaxy A18 4G could become the first model in the series to reach consumers, while the 5G variant may arrive later as Samsung expands the lineup.
