Gold Prices Plummet Across Pakistan

News Desk
KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant downward revision on Tuesday, offering a temporary reprieve to domestic buyers amidst persistent inflationary pressures across the country’s bullion markets.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of per tola gold dropped by Rs 1,800, settling the new rate at Rs 455,736.
Concurrently, the price of 10 grams of the precious metal registered a decrease of Rs 1,543, bringing it down to Rs 390,000.
Market analysts attribute this localized downward trend to fluctuating international bullion rates and shifting investor sentiments away from safe-haven assets as global economic indicators stabilize.
Despite these reductions, overall precious metal costs remain historically high, keeping gold largely out of reach for average retail consumers and traditional wedding shoppers.
Financial experts anticipate continued market volatility in the coming weeks as domestic traders closely monitor international dollar fluctuations and local currency performance.
Further adjustments are expected as upcoming global macroeconomic data releases dictate broader commodity trends.
