Karachi Weather: Mild Night Brings Respite Amid High Humidity

News Desk
KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported a minimum temperature of 27.5 degrees Celsius in the metropolis, with current readings hovering around 29 degrees Celsius as southwesterly sea breezes continue to sweep across the coastal areas.
According to the latest synoptic analysis released by the Met Office, the humidity level in the air was recorded at a notably high 78 percent.
This persistent atmospheric moisture is expected to maintain muggy conditions across various neighborhoods, though the ongoing flow of sea winds is likely to provide some intermittent relief to citizens during the evening hours.
For urban dwellers and daily commuters, the prevailing climatic conditions mean that warm and humid weather will persist through the current spell.
Health experts advise citizens to stay adequately hydrated and avoid prolonged direct exposure to the sun, particularly during peak afternoon hours when the heat index can feel significantly higher due to elevated humidity levels.
Meteorological authorities will continue to monitor regional atmospheric changes closely, issuing timely advisories should any sudden shifts in wind patterns or cloud cover develop in the Arabian Sea vicinity over the coming days.
