Five family members injured in cylinder explosion in Islamabad

Islamabad: At least five members of a family sustained burn injuries when a gas cylinder exploded on Friday inside a house in the I-10 sector of the federal capital.
According to details, the blast caused panic in the residential area as flames quickly engulfed parts of the house, local media reported.
Rescue teams and police immediately reached the scene and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital after providing initial medical aid on-site.
Authorities said the affected area was secured after the rescue operation was completed. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the explosion.

Meanwhile, at least seven youths lost their lives in a tragic traffic accident in Kahuta, while separate incidents in Multan and Wazirabad also claimed several lives.
According to family sources, a rickshaw carrying a group of youths met with an accident while returning from a waterfall tour in Khursheedabad tehsil of Kahuta.
Two youths died on the spot, while five others, who were injured in the accident, later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The victims were reportedly cousins.
In another incident, two youths were killed after two motorcycles collided during a race on Gilani Flyover in Multan. A rescue spokesperson confirmed that the bodies were handed over to the heirs.
