ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Pakistan Meteorological Department have jointly issued a high-intensity weather alert, predicting severe downpours and potential flash floods across multiple regions of the country starting today through September 30. The advisory warns citizens and local administrations to remain vigilant as active weather systems bring heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and localized hailstorms to vulnerable areas.
According to meteorological reports, the upcoming spell is expected to significantly impact the federal capital Islamabad, the Pothohar region, and several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
