Faisalabad Police Encounter Leaves Two Gang Members Dead

FAISALABAD: In a fierce pre-dawn exchange of gunfire, two wanted members of an inter-district dacoit gang were killed, while three others managed to escape following a fierce shootout with law enforcement personnel near Makhan Pul on Multan Road on Monday.
According to initial police reports, the Crime Control Department (CCD) team intercepted the armed suspects during a routine snap-checking operation.
The suspects, who were allegedly involved in dozens of heinous criminal cases including armed robbery, extortion, and kidnapping for ransom, opened indiscriminate fire on the police party, prompting a robust retaliation.
