CDA Cancels Allotment of Land to Shopping Mall

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has formally canceled the temporary permission granted to a major shopping mall administration for the commercial use of eight kanals of prime state land in the federal capital.
The swift administrative action comes amidst an ongoing review of civic regulations and public property management across Islamabad.
According to civic authority sources, the land in question was initially permitted for temporary utilization under specific terms and conditions.
However, subsequent evaluations revealed deviations from the stipulated agreement, prompting the civic body to revoke the authorization immediately and reclaim direct administrative control over the valuable urban property.
