QUETTA: The Balochistan government has announced a significant initiative to train 30,000 young individuals for skilled employment abroad.

This decision was made during a meeting of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (BTEVTA), chaired by Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.

During the meeting, officials provided an update on the newly launched Institute Registration Portal, which aims to streamline the registration process for vocational training institutes.

Chief Minister Bugti emphasized the importance of equipping the youth with necessary skills to enhance their employability in international markets.

This initiative is expected to have far-reaching implications for the province, where unemployment rates are high.

By facilitating overseas employment, the government aims to alleviate poverty and improve the economic conditions of families in Balochistan. The move could also contribute to remittances, bolstering the local economy.

Looking ahead, the BTEVTA plans to conduct further meetings to finalize training programs and partnerships with international organizations.

The government is optimistic that this initiative will not only empower the youth but also foster a culture of skill development in the region.
