Karachi: Cricket fans in Karachi are set to return to the stands as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) opens ticket sales for the high-profile Pakistan Super League  (PSL) 11 Qualifier, following government approval for public attendance in the playoffs.

The marquee clash between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will be staged at the National Bank Stadium, with the board setting a flat ticket price of Rs500 across all enclosures, an apparent move to maximise crowd turnout for the crucial fixture.

E-tickets are being released immediately, while physical tickets will be available from Tuesday morning at a designated TCS Express Centre near the stadium.

Fans have been urged to arrive early to avoid last-minute congestion, with the toss scheduled for 6:30pm and play commencing at 7:00pm.

The announcement comes shortly after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved spectator access for all three playoff matches, a decision confirmed by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi following a meeting with the premier.

The move signals a push to restore full stadium atmosphere during the final phase of the tournament.

While Karachi hosts the Qualifier, the remaining playoff matches will take place in Lahore, with ticketing details for those fixtures expected to be released soon.
