Islamabad: Indian actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill has once again expressed her admiration for Pakistan’s entertainment industry, saying that Pakistani dramas stand apart because of their emotional storytelling, natural romance, and powerful performances.
In a recent interview clip that has gone viral on social media, the Bigg Boss 13 star revealed that she is a huge fan of Pakistani dramas and enjoys watching them regularly. She also named some of her favourite Pakistani actors, including Hania Aamir, Bilal Abbas Khan, and Fahad Mustafa.
Speaking about the actors, Shehnaaz described Hania Aamir as her “favourite” and praised Bilal Abbas Khan’s acting skills. She also appreciated Fahad Mustafa‘s performance, particularly his role in the hit drama ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’.
Discussing the dramas she has recently watched, the actress said she thoroughly enjoyed ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ and also praised Meri ‘Zindagi Hai To’, describing both as outstanding productions.
Explaining what makes Pakistani dramas unique, Shehnaaz said their portrayal of love feels genuine and emotionally rich.
“I like Pakistani dramas because the romance feels very natural. There is no need for excessive physical intimacy. The emotions, expressions, and storytelling are so powerful that they create a different kind of magic,” she said.
According to the actress, the slow-paced storytelling and the emotional depth of the characters keep viewers engaged, making Pakistani dramas stand out from many other television industries.
She added that love in Pakistani dramas is expressed through meaningful performances, subtle emotions, and strong scripts rather than unnecessary physical scenes, allowing audiences to connect more deeply with the characters.
