New York: A viral video showing two people, reportedly lawyers from New York City, sharing an intimate moment in Central Park has sparked a heated debate online, with viewers divided over whether it was a scandal or an invasion of privacy.

The footage, recorded by TikTok user Jay Guapõ, shows the pair sitting on a park bench and kissing before the creator approaches them and says, “Get a room. There’s kids around.”

The couple appears startled, quickly looking up and attempting to cover themselves from the camera. The man, dressed in a suit, stands up smiling and tries to wave the TikToker away, while the woman asks him to “put the phone down.”

The situation escalates when the TikToker responds, “Don’t touch me, don’t touch. If you touch me, I’ll have to touch you,” as the confrontation continues.

The video quickly spread across social media, with some users speculating that the pair were involved in an affair and calling it “the most obvious affair,” while others criticized the person filming, accusing him of provoking strangers and invading their privacy.

Many viewers compared the incident to the viral Coldplay concert cheating scandal that dominated social media last year, saying the clip had all the elements of an internet controversy.

However, the identities of the people in the video and claims about their relationship status have not been independently confirmed.

The debate now continues online: was this a public scandal caught on camera or a private moment that should have stayed private?
