Violation Of Dengue SOPs: 15 Face Legal Action

Rawalpindi: The District Health Authority (DHA) has registered 15 FIRs (First Information Report), issued tickets to 11, sealed one premise and imposed a fine of Rs 184,000 against the violations of dengue SOPs during the last 24 hours.

With the arrival of 17 more cases during the last 24 hours, the district’s total tally has reached 2,475 confirmed cases, revealed District Coordinator of Epidemics Prevention and Control (DCEPC) Dr Sajjad Mehmood.

Among the new cases, 10 patients have arrived from the Potohar town urban area, five from the Municipal Corporation area, and one each from the Potohar rural and Chaklala Cantonment areas, said Dr Mehmood.

Presently, 47 patients are admitted to different district health facilities, of which 35 are confirmed cases and 2,439 were discharged after treatment.
