ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to place the unresolved disputes of Jammu & Kashmir and Palestine at the forefront of Pakistan’s diplomatic agenda during the upcoming 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Pakistan’s permanent envoy confirmed that the premier will travel to New York to address world leaders, utilizing the global platform to articulate Islamabad’s principled stance on international human rights and regional stability.
Scheduled to take the rostrum on September 25, Prime Minister Shehbaz will emphasize the urgent need for international intervention in conflict zones where populations continue to suffer prolonged oppression.
The diplomatic push aims to galvanize global attention toward the right to self-determination for Kashmiris and Palestinians, reinforcing Pakistan’s traditional foreign policy priorities amidst evolving geopolitical dynamics.
