Film ‘Dhal Chal’ Set To Hit Theaters On December 8

Islamabad: The highly anticipated ‘Dhai Chaal’ drops a short teaser on YouTube, unveiling that the action thriller film will be hitting cinemas on December 8.

Starring Ayesha Omar and Shamoon Abbasi, the film is rumoured to draw loose inspiration from the life of the convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Abbasi’s character is reportedly the focal point, portraying an individual apprehended by Pakistani intelligence agencies. The trailer shows Ayesha Umar, who plays the role of a journalist and potential love interest.

One memorable dialogue featured in the recent premiere announcement perfectly encapsulates the essence of ‘Dhai Chaal’: “Ye Bollywood nahi hai, jahaan climax mein tum log har jang jeet jate ho” (this isn’t Bollywood, where you’ll win every war as the film climaxes).

Although the teaser purposefully withholds significant story aspects, it unquestionably gives interested viewers a taste of the movie’s atmosphere. The preview has plenty of dramatic scenes, a moody colour scheme, and a general air of mayhem.

Directed by Taimoor Sherazi, written by Farheen Chaudhry, and produced by Dr Irfan Ashraf, the film is set to release under HUM Films’ banner. Other movie cast stars include Humayoun Ashraf, Adnan Shah Tipu, Taqi Ahmed, Saleem Miraj, Areej Chaudhry, Faraz Marri, Jamal Gilani, Pakiza Khan and Anya Hassan.
