Murder Suspect Arrested While Fleeing Abroad

Multan: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration authorities at Multan Airport foiled an alleged attempt by a murder suspect to leave the country and arrested him, according to the FIA Lahore Zone.

The suspect, identified as Amanullah, was attempting to travel to the United Arab Emirates on flight FZ326 when FIA immigration officials detained him.

According to the FIA, Amanullah had been wanted by Punjab Police for the past four months in connection with a murder case registered in May 2026 at Shah Sadar Din Police Station in Dera Ghazi Khan.

The suspect’s name had been placed on the Stop List, enabling immigration officials to intercept him at the airport.

Following his arrest, FIA Immigration officials at Multan Airport handed Amanullah over to Punjab Police for further legal proceedings.

Further investigation is underway.
