Dry Weather Brings Chill to Punjab Nights

Lahore: Dry and cooler weather has settled across Punjab, including Lahore, following a drop in temperatures, bringing a noticeable chill to nighttime conditions.

According to the Meteorological Department, Lahore is expected to record a minimum temperature of 22°C and a maximum of 33°C over the next 24 hours. The weather is likely to remain hot and dry, with little chance of rain.

Meanwhile, smog levels in the provincial capital have also started to rise. Lahore is currently ranked among the world’s most polluted cities, with its Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded above 160, indicating unhealthy air quality.

The combination of dry weather, cooler nights and deteriorating air quality has raised concerns about worsening smog conditions in the coming days.
