ISLAMABAD: Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri, a prominent leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), has called on the government to cease its threats and disclose pertinent details regarding its policies and actions.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Haidri emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in governance.
During his address, Haidri criticized the government’s approach, stating that intimidation tactics would not deter the opposition from demanding clarity on critical issues affecting the nation.
He asserted, “The government must stop issuing threats and instead provide the public with the information they deserve. We are here to represent the people’s voice, and we will not back down.”
This statement comes amid rising tensions between the government and opposition parties, as citizens express growing concerns over economic challenges and governance issues.
Haidri’s remarks highlight the ongoing struggle for political accountability and the need for a more open dialogue between the ruling party and its critics.
Looking ahead, political analysts suggest that the opposition may intensify its efforts to hold the government accountable in the coming weeks.
As the National Assembly session approaches, further discussions on these matters are expected, potentially leading to significant political developments.
