Karachi Court Demands Challan in Cocaine Queen Case

KARACHI: A sessions court in Karachi on Tuesday expressed strong dissatisfaction with law enforcement authorities over their persistent failure to submit a supplementary challan against accused Anmol, widely known as Anmol Pinky or the ‘cocaine queen’, and her accomplices in high-profile narcotics and manslaughter cases.
During the court proceedings held at the City Court Sessions South, the prime suspect along with co-accused Sameer was produced before the judicial magistrate via a video link. The hearing centered on two major pending cases involving unintentional manslaughter (qatl-bis-sabab) and drug trafficking. However, the investigating agency once again failed to present the mandatory supplementary challan, prompting sharp scrutiny from the bench over procedural delays.
The protracted legal proceedings highlight recurring challenges within local investigative machinery, where delays in finalising forensic reports and supplementary chargesheets often impede the swift delivery of justice.
